When starting your journey with Growing Strong Therapy, we may need to collect some of the following information about you:

- Health professionals involved in your care

This information will be used to initially make contact with yourself and arrange a meet and greet chat, following this your information will enable Growing Strong Therapy to keep in contact with yourselves during your journey. Some of the above information will be used during the physiotherapy assessment to decide which examinations are appropriate for you. Together, this information helps to build a physiotherapy treatment plan that will meet your needs and achieve the best possible outcome. The data you supply is stored and processed for the reasons above and adheres to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The data provided will be stored securely using a specialist medical electronic records service (Write Upp) this is a cloud based software. This system has given assurances that they are GDPR compliant. The data is protected through passwords which are changed regularly to ensure your data remains safe. Under GDPR we will only use your data for legitimate reasons to provide you with the correct care.
Who we will share your information with?
Growing Strong Therapy may deem it necessary to share some of your information with other health professionals to maintain continued integrated care. Such example would be when making referrals to other services, or sharing information during specialist appointments. Growing Strong Therapy will endeavor to discuss this with you prior to information being shared.
How long do we store your information?
Growing Strong Therapy provides physiotherapy care to its clients, and as such, has a legal obligation to hold and store personal information securely. A clients' information is stored indefinitely, due to the nature of services offered. We have an interest to process and store personal information, in case of a medical claim or query. We may wish to contact current and previous clients of future services we may offer.
If you have contacted Growing Strong Therapy to gain more insight into physiotherapy care or to work alongside us, we have an interest to hold your information whilst working with you, to allow us to respond to enquires and advise on the services we offer.
Access to your information
Requests for copies of the information we hold about you are accepted via a written request or email, please see the 'contact us' tab. We welcome updates of your personal information to maintain accurate, up to date records. If you wish for your data to be removed and you withdraw consent for us to store your data then please let us know.
