Your Empowering Journey

At Growing Strong Therapy our highly experienced physiotherapists will work together with yourself and your family to tailor a package of physiotherapy care to determine the best possible outcome, taking into account your aspirations, hobbies, likes and physical requirements.  An assessment embodying varied aspects will be completed and a detailed treatment plan created. Advice and reassurance will be offered throughout your journey with Growing Strong Therapy.

FREE Consultation

Meet & Greet

Firstly you will be offered a FREE video or telephone call with one of our Physiotherapists, for us to introduce Growing Strong Therapy and to explain our vision and values. During the conversation we will ask more questions regarding your physiotherapy care to determine how we can help. We will answer any questions you have and together agree a plan moving forward.  

At Home, School, Nursery

Initial Assessment

The initial assessment will take place face to face.  During this appointment the Physiotherapist will complete a comprehensive assessment, that will include many aspects. Together we will develop a care plan with different treatment options. 

Follow up appointments

Continued Therapy

These sessions will be pre-arranged with yourself, tailoring a package of care to your needs. 

This may include:

  • Therapy Sessions
  • Postural Management Treatment  and Advice
  • Training to carers in relation to the treatment plan
  • Treatment Plan Review
  • Parent Support 
  • Annual Reviews (CPIPS, joint range of motion, muscle strength, functional skill ability)
Helpful Services

Additional Services

We understand an integrated approach is helpful when managing your physical care. Having insight into an individuals physical need can be beneficial for their ongoing care. We can offer:

  • Accompanying individual to specialist appointments (wheelchair assessments, GAIT lab, Orthopaedic appointments)
  • Equipment assessment for postural review (with Rep as appropriate)
  • Report Writing
  • Referrals to additional services
  • Signposting e.g. funding
