Our team of skilled and experienced therapists strongly believe a consistent approach to physiotherapy care should be continued throughout a persons life. Hayley Mitchell is the founder of Growing Strong Therapy. She has over 17 years experience working within the NHS and the independent sector. Hayley graduated from MMU with a BSc in Physiotherapy and specalised in Paediatric Physiotherapy early in her career and has enjoyed a fulfilling role working with some of the most inspirational children and young adults. Hayley has worked in Special schools her whole career, which has underpinned her understanding and friendly rapour when working with children and young adults with learning disabilities. Through this specialty, Hayley has developed extensive knowledge and experience in children's physical development, children's and young adults neurological physiotherapy, gait rehabilitation, respiratory physiotherapy and children's genetic physiotherapy.
Hayley believes every individual should receive the physiotherapy care they require and deserve, going above and beyond to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients. She is positive, passionate and highly motivated in the care she delivers. Hayley prides herself on understanding her clients physical needs, tailoring personal physiotherapy care to their requirements.
Hayley has special interests in neurology care, postural management, hydrotherapy, gait rehabilitation and orthotics management. Hayley has links with the regional specialist equipment representatives and has active input into these assessments and reviews, to ensure any equipment meets the clients needs.
Hayley is a clinical educator within her NHS role. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapist, Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists, a member of the Health and Care Professions Council and has an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.
