We are always happy to hear from families looking for physiotherapy care. Here at Growing Strong Therapy, we will introduce our physiotherapy vision and values via a friendly telephone or video call. We will gather more information regarding your physiotherapy need and answer any questions you may have. We are here to listen and give appropriate advice, for you to determine if Growing Strong Therapy can help you.
Following our initial meet and greet call, together we will determine what input is appropriate for you. We will arrange convenient dates and times for physiotherapy sessions. An initial assessment will take place in your home and together we will agree physiotherapy goals and treatment plan. We are always on hand for reassurance and advice.

Hayley has worked in Special schools for over 17 years, which has provided extensive understanding, knowledge and experience with treating children and young adults with learning disabilities. Hayley has always developed a friendly and respectful rapour with families and prides herself on knowing her clients physical needs very well. Working within special schools has enabled Hayley to build solid relationships with other professionals, education staff and the wider community, to be on hand with appropriate advice to facilitate joint working to achieve the best possible outcome for clients. It is well understood that not every child is the same and our team will flex and adapt to the clients need.
Physiotherapy sessions can take place in your home, school or nursery.
You will be offered a package of care based on your individual need. These can be single sessions, booked as and when required, or a block of 5 or 10 sessions used over a agreed period of time. We offer 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour or 4 hour sessions.
Here at Growing Strong Therapy, we are happy to work in conjunction with any current services you are open to. One of our values is building foundations for strong relationships to achieve the best outcomes. We have strong links with other paediatric therapy services, such as Speech and Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist. We also liaise with consultants and specialist therapy providers to ensure joined up working for the best possible outcomes.
We hope in the future that Growing Strong Therapy can offer additional independent therapies. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Your personal information will be securely stored by Growing Strong Therapy and used to facilitate your physiotherapy care. All information stored will adhere with GDPR. We may need to share information with other health providers, in the interest of continued care. You will be consulted when this is the case and the reason behind why your information is required.
We understand that everyone is different and sessions can be ongoing, as you see fit. We can advise on the appropriate amount of sessions as your physiotherapy journey progresses with us.
We offer blocks of intensive physiotherapy sessions over a few weeks, or over a few months.
We aim to begin sessions with your timeframe in mind.
We may ask that some therapy is completed at home by parents or carers to maintain progress between physiotherapy sessions. You will be taught how to complete these programmes by the physiotherapist, who can be contacted for any advice between visits.
